Leakage Detection Unit (API-Plan 75, 76)
In API Plan 75 & 76 arrangements, vapour leakage from the inboard seal of a dual containment seal, either contacting or non-contacting design, is directed to a vapour recovery system via a vent connection.
AESSEAL has designed an LDU vessel to capture this vapour. The vessel can have a level switch installed so that an alarm can be sounded when the vessel is almost full (switch can be provided for a different zoned environments).
