Constructed of durable heavy duty finned cast iron, with 2 HP, 60 Hz, 3450 RPM premium class motor, finished with • Corrosion-resistant powder coated epoxy, Oil-filled and hermetically sealed with Class F insulation, hardened stainless steel cutter and disc, and with cutters protected from abrasive solids. Cutters can automatically alternate direction to enhance blade life and free hang-ups (automatic or manual). Assembled with stainless steel screws, bolts, and lifting bail. As an additional benefit, this pump line easily adapts to many existing competitors’ rail systems. It is equipped with mechanical shaft seals with leak detection – using carbon/silicon carbide lower seal, carbon/ceramic upper seal and Viton O-rings. It is protected by an automatic thermal overload (single phase) and thermal sensor protection (standard on 3 phase). The legs provide for free-standing installation and preassembled systems are available.

High Efficiency Grinder Pumps with Automatic Reversing for Self Cleaning, Sharpening, and Longer Life
The Zoeller® 6840 series grinder pumps are said to be the most rugged 2 HP grinder pump available on the market today. They have an automatic reversing feature that is also available. Zoeller® makes a rail adapter kit to allow a direct replacement of a Myers® 2 HP grinder pump or a 2 HP Hydromatic® grinder.
The Zoeller® 71 Series grinder pumps give you a choice from either a horizontal flanged or vertical NPT discharge. Plus, three performance types: high head, high flow or reversing in 3 to 7-1/2 HP. Zoeller® also has a rail adapter kit to allow direct replacement of the Myers® 3, 5, and 7.5 HP grinder pumps.
