Ever have a 316 stainless steel shaft hold up in the fluids you are pumping but have the casing or rear cover or impeller fail? Well, cavitation could eat up your castings but so can corrosion. We offer your choice of CD4MuN and CF8M Alloys.
CF8M is the casting alloy closest to machined (forged) 316 stainless steel. However, cast equivalents of most machined metals used in pumps are not as corrosion resistant. That’s why we carry both.
