The DIP System® – Municipal Lift Station Solution

Virtually untouched for more than fifty years, the wastewater industry in the U.S has been in dire need of innovation to replace inefficient equipment and processes.

Thankfully, there is a proven solution that has already been utilized throughout Europe for many years. The patented system eliminates clogs on its own, ends odors from what is now a wet well, stops corrosion, reduces energy costs and more.

Meet the DIP System® (Direct In-line Pump)

Two electric motors are connected by an engineered hydraulic body, the shape of which is specifically designed to be able to receive effluent directly. The upstream level entering the unit is measured by a static sensor, mounted in the effluent inlet. This design provides 100 percent backup. Should flows greatly increase, it will provide a 200 percent capacity.

Made entirely with 304 stainless steel, the suction profiles are designed to inherently take advantage of the flow speed from the gravity-driven inlet.

The inlet body also includes a “stone trap” with an inspection port and draining valve.

The interior surface of the pumping system body is very smooth to offer maximum efficiency and has no areas where debris in suspension might be collected. The wide flow section continues through to the internal directional swing check valve.

The swing check box is an integral part of the body, eliminating the need for additional pipework between the two pumps. The valve has three working positions: right or left according to which pump is operating, and central if both are operating. It has a stainless steel frame and easily replaceable wear plates.
